Weaning towards Halloween

Halloween Disco
Tickets are on sale every day at 3.15pm outside of class 4 or you can buy tickets on the door. The 6pm disco says Key Stage 1 on the tickets but this definitely includes children from reception/early years. Tickets are £1. Pre schoolers = Free. Adults = Free. A Frighteningly cheap night out
Think Supermarkets
A bit of a strange subtitle but basically we need volunteers for the Halloween Disco. Imagine you are at the supermarket with your children and your child has just found their dream Halloween costume, (and you the adult has some excellent treats for yourself in your basket). You queue at the tills behind lots of excited children when suddenly the till has to shut because no one has come to relieve the assistant from their shift.
Please imagine the above scene at the Halloween disco – if we don’t have volunteers for every single slot (e.g. door entry, bar, food counter, ‘beauty’ area) then that slot has to shut or the person manning it is put under HUGE pressure to do another half an hour meaning they will then miss out on sharing the fun with their own child. The PTA committee will be there for the whole duration of the evening we can’t oversee this event without your help!
The volunteer sign up sheet is outside of class 3 on our PTA board – just half an hour of your time is very much appreciated and there is a wide selection of jobs available.
Planning Meeting
We have another PTA meeting on Wednesday 14th October 7pm at the Gillygate pub. Do come along and help us to plan our future events
Halloween Cake stall
This is next week on Wednesday 21st October. Please bring in any cake donations to the staffroom in the morning. The scarier the better.
How on earth can you organise such a thing I will get scared to death!
Ha ha Charlotte! We are a bit scared if we will get enough volunteer helpers or not.
