We were all very excited this morning to see that all 4 of our butterflies had hatched out of their cocoons. We have given them some fruit and special nectar to drink. We have made it from mixing water and sugar. Tomorrow during forest schools we are going to set them all free!

Rocket Science! – How many seeds are still alive?

In science club on Friday 13th of May 2016 we looked to see how many seeds are still alive and how many are dead. With 200 seeds, 67 have died and 113 are still alive. Germinated seeds

Today in curiosity club we calculated the percentage of the seeds (mathematical) .The majority of seeds have germinated. We are carrying out these results on a chart. The best tray has 80% of germination and the worst tray has germinated 48%.That is less than half the seeds. By Maddy,Georgia,Ruby and Isidora. 🙂
