Getting ready for Christmas.

Halving in maths

Class 6 tried hard in maths this week to halve numbers including odd numbers! We realised odd numbers leave halves which was quite tricky to understand. Some of the children used cubes to help them, others used partitioning to split numbers to make them easier to deal with.
