Using the greedy crocodile to help us we worked with numbers to find ‘greater than’ and ‘less then’.  We practised on whiteboards using building bricks before we wrote in our books. Well done Class 2 as this can be abit tricky.

We’ve been archaeological detectives this week as we worked in groups to investigate a model burial barrow, a photograph of a skeleton and a collection of grave goods just like real archaeologists.  We had a fantastic time deciding whether each barrow and its contents were from the Stone, Bronze or Iron Age.

It was our challenge to design a skeleton out of paper and straws to protect a chocolate teacake which would be dropped from a height.
